Every day and misc projects:
- Skirt for my best male friend (Half done for quite some time...)
- Sewing tool belt (Half done for quite a long time, as well...)
- Underbust vest (Just for fun, don't know if I'll wear it, but wanted to try out the pattern by chrisseline from natronundsoda.net/forum; almost done)
- Waistcoat for my bf (Somewhat based on a regency style, but not historically accurate at all; my own pattern. Fabric washed and ironed for some time; no buttons yet)
- A new red and black striped bag (Bought such a great fabric; not washed yet)
- Medieval short cape (The green wool fabric is waiting and I bought matching thread this weekend)
- Green velvet LARP waistcoat (Made the pattern and a mock up; my bf gave the fabric to me ~2 years ago...)
- Circle skirt (Like the one I made for my best friend, cause mine is falling to pieces... I guess I have enough fabric lying around)
-
Victorian Ensemble:
- Bustle (TV 108 - I already have the pattern, the steel and the fabric. Fabric is washed and ironed.)
- Bustle petticoat (Fabric here, washed and ironed)
- Chemise and drawers (Fabric needs to be washed, but everything else is ready. I'll use these patterns from www.marquise.de - the second chemise and the first drawers -, but will alter the neck line and arms of the chemise.)
- Corset(s) (I already have the fabric and enough steel and spiral boning, am waiting for the bone tips. The pattern of the first one will be taken off a modern one that fits me perfectly, but is "victorian" enough for a start; furthermore the Laughing Moon patterns are on their way.)
- "1870 Trained Skirt Ensemble" (TV 208, but I don't have the pattern or any fabric yet. I guess I'll use black cotton.)
- "1875 Ball Gown Basque Bodice" (TV 416)(Yes, it fits in with the skirt, the TV homepage says: "This style is particularly suited to 1870 - 1876") (No pattern and no fabric yet, but a little bit of trimming)
- Victorian mantle or wrap (I bought such a great lightweight wool at the fabric market, but don't know which pattern I'll use.)
Venetian Carnival Rokoko Gown
Due next February, because my bf and me want to attend the Venetian style masquerade ball in a nearby city. Of course, he also needs the proper attire. (I'll probably also have to sew a gown for my best friend if I want her to come with us... and maybe clothes for her bf. >< )
I don't have any fabric for this project, yet. I think I'll get most of it at the fabric market in June.
And I think I'll use my victorian chemise and drawers though it's not authentic... it's just a masquerade after all. I also probably won't make the stockings myself.
- Stays (Pattern from "Corsets and Crinolines", but I don't exactly know which one yet)
- Pocket-Hoops (Also a "Corsets and Crinolines" pattern.)
- Petticoat (Following this pattern by www.marquise.de)
- Robe à la Polonaise (I think I'll use the J.P. Ryan pattern for an Anglaise/Polonaise)
- maybe a Hat (probably a matching Tricorne)
Rokoko attire for my boyfriend
- Shirt (Probably following the marquise.de instructions)
- Breeches
- Waistcoat
- Justaucorps - probably all following the marquise.de patterns - I'll have to make a mock up version first ><
- Stock (Didn't know the English name before ^^) (Again, I'll use the instructions by marquise.de)
- A new tricorne, this time more elegant with some trimming to suit the rest of the attire.
...to be continued, I'm sure I forgot something
